Endeavour Insurance Services, Delegated Authority Specialist and Lloyd’s Broker, today confirms the successful placement of the first policies on its innovative cyberEIS technology and cyber portal.
The risks were placed by a US-based wholesale broker and helped SME clients achieve comprehensive and broad cyber coverage as well as access to risk management advice and support.
Tony Loizides, Divisional Director, Endeavour Insurance Services, said:
“This proof of concept for the Endeavour Cyber Facility portal technology is a terrific milestone for us. Demand for cyber protection has increased enormously and we are seeing a strong increase in enquiries from businesses seeking to offer comprehensive coverage to their local markets.
“We believe Cyber coverage for SMEs should go above and beyond insurance and provide risk management as well as wider support services to help businesses secure and protect their networks against attack in the first place. In the past it has been a complex challenge for US and Canadian producing brokers to find effective Cyber products that offer the cost-effective breadth and support that SME clients are seeking.”
US-based brokers, managing general agents and Lloyd’s Coverholders can access Endeavour’s proprietary cyberEIS offering which is available via its exclusive web portal. Those wishing to grow their presence in this sector can also create and operate their own branded Cyber facility via CyberEIS to better service this risk and keep pace with a growing market.
There is also no first party deductible if Endeavour’s expert Cyber partners are used. This risk is the first of a number of different products to be offered by Endeavour through the online portal for our partner MGAs, producing brokers and clients in the US and Canada.
An experienced insurance professional with 28 years insurance experience mainly in the North American markets and specialising in technology and cyber, Loizides was recently appointed as Divisional Director at Endeavour, focussing on cyber risk.
The technology for Endeavour’s facility was provided by Surely Services, which delivers innovative technology solutions to the insurance industry. Surely Services is part of the Surely Group which was established in 2013 by an experienced team of entrepreneurs, insurance industry experts and technologists. As part of the development, the accounting for business written is integrated into Endeavour’s business processing systems which are provided by Morning Data Ltd.
Endeavour has also partnered with CyberScout to offer 24.7 breach response services for policyholder peace of mind, as well as specialist legal teams which develop appropriate responses to any privacy breaches, assess the applicable coverage, and support claims management – even in the unlikely event of a liability claim.
